About DeviceFarm

DeviceFarm, in plain facts

DeviceFarm (devicefarm.io) is a real phone farm in a datacenter. Its Android phones run on ARM servers, the same chip architecture as the phone in your pocket, not on x86 PCs running emulators. Customers rent fleets of 20 to 6,000 phones and use them from the browser. Each phone is an isolated Android device with its own persistent identity and proxy slot. DeviceFarm.io is a trading name of Neutral AI LLC, Wyoming, USA.

What is DeviceFarm?

DeviceFarm gives each account its own Android device without anyone buying, wiring or maintaining phones. Customers pick a fleet size, create phones in the dashboard, attach a proxy to each one and operate them by hand or, with the Automation add-on, through built-in automations and their own code. The key facts, in one place:

What does DeviceFarm offer?

Fleets of real Android phones

Each phone runs Android 10 to 16 on ARM servers in our datacenter and is live in under 60 seconds. It is an isolated device with its own persistent identity (IMEI, Android ID, MAC and Bluetooth MAC, Wi-Fi BSSID, serial, model, timezone and locale) and its own SOCKS5, HTTP or HTTPS proxy slot.

Tiered plans with a daily ceiling

One monthly price per fleet size, from 20 to 6,000 phones, with unlimited team seats included. Runtime is billed only while a phone runs and never passes $2.10 per phone per day, so the worst case is known before you start.

How you pay

You pay by card or in crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Solana and most other coins). Crypto goes through NOWPayments and is credited to your account wallet, which then pays for plans. Prices are in US dollars. Each plan covers 30 days, paid upfront. Card plans renew monthly by default: turn that off at checkout or cancel anytime from Billing. The free trial needs no credit card.

Direct support

Support runs on Telegram at @devicefarmio, where you write to the team rather than to a ticket form. Partnership requests go to the same place.

What DeviceFarm is not

  • Not Amazon's AWS Device Farm. AWS Device Farm is Amazon's automated app-testing service. DeviceFarm.io is a separate company with no affiliation to Amazon Web Services. How the two differ.
  • Not an emulator service. Phones run real Android on ARM servers, not an emulator or an Android virtual machine on x86 servers. Our glossary explains what an Android emulator is.
  • Not a VoIP "cloud phone system". DeviceFarm phones are Android devices for running apps. They have no phone line, SIM card or carrier number.
  • Not a hardware store. You rent phones 30 days at a time and use them remotely. Nothing ships to you, and nothing needs to be returned.
Developers

Can you control DeviceFarm phones from code?

Yes, with the Automation add-on ($99 a month on top of the phone plan). The same add-on unlocks the built-in automations, so one subscription covers both.
